2016:

Jim Wiltinger will again be chairing our Wednesday night fishing league on Lake Neshonoc. The first night will be May 11th, and fishing will happen every Wednesday until June 29th. Jim will be unavailable for some time after that, but if we're getting good turnouts and interest, we should be able to extend it. We'll see how it goes.

  

League Report:

From 5/17/15- John De George was the first winner with the only musky caught during league hours, He caught a 28.5". Jim Wiltinger caught a 30" at 4:57 3 minutes before legal time. Also 3 northerns, a couple large mouth bass, And a striper were caught. One boat reported some late action on topwaters close to 9 pm but none were hooked. We had 14 fishermen compete

 Wednesday Night Musky League will start at 5pm Wednesday May 11, And will end on last Wednesday in July. Fishing rules are as follows.

  1. Fishing Times. 5pm to 9pm (I would like to see all fishermen at landing at end of night to record fish)  
  2. ANY MUSKY SCORES POINTS. Undersized Muskies will score points. 1” to 19.99 will score 1 pt., 20” to 29.99” will score 2pts.
  3. 30” and larger muskies will be scored by MI Standards., 4pts for 30”, 1 pt for each added inch. ½ inch will be rounded up. (35.5”=36” 10 pts)  
  4. TAGGING MUSKIES IMPORTANT. I will have tags and scanner to check or tag all Muskies. Data Important. Any Size fish.  
  5. NON Tagged muskies will still count (But idea of league is to gather info on our fish) (phone numbers of people with scanner will be given)  
  6. League will be 10 weeks long fishing allowed on Lake Neshonec ONLY.  
  7. Nightly winner will receive a prize, And League Champion will receive a Trophy and Major Prize.  
  8. POINTS ADD UP FOR FINAL LEAGUE CHAMPION FISH AS MANY LEAGUE NIGHTS AS POSSIBLE.  
  9. NO LIVE BAIT
